| Personal History | Gabriel "Scotch" Stewart has the nickname "Scotch" for two reasons: 1. He is of Scottish decent. 2. He has the occasional Scotch on the rocks. Born in Scotland, his life and career mirrored that of Montgomery "Scotty" Scott, his token mentor. In fact, Gabriel followed the same career path as Scotty. Gabriel Stewart was born in Scotland on Earth in 2353, and raised in a family of ship builders, thus, when he decided to join Starfleet, his wanted to become an engineer, and be innovative in his approach to problem solving. During his time at Starfleet Academy he had Professor Pelia as an instructor where he was considered to be one of her best students, but received some of her worst grades. He joined Starfleet and began his engineering career in 2372. Gabriel's wife, Gabriella, was a Xenobotanist, and was working in a hydroponics bay, when there was a freak accident that killed everyone inside. This happened in 2376. |
