Bryon laid in their bed, finding comfort in each other's company. They just had a long romantic sex session. They were spent.

Aluura, with her head laying on his chest, spoke. "Bry, what is Halloween?"

Bryon smiled at the question. "Why do you ask?"

"I've heard many of the crew talking about it in the lounge, and I wondered what it was." she replied.

Bryon took a deep breath. "Halloween is a holiday celebrated each year on, on Earth, on October 31. The tradition originated with the ancient Celtic festival of Samhain, when people would light bonfires and wear costumes to ward off ghosts. In the 8th century, Pope Gregory III designated November 1 as a time to honor all saints. Soon, All Saints Day incorporated some of the traditions of Samhain. The evening before was known as All Hallows Eve, and later Halloween. Over time, Halloween evolved into a day of activities like trick-or-treating, carving jack-o-lanterns, festive gatherings, donning costumes and eating treats." He finished. "Just an excuse for drinking, eating and find a partner for the night.

"You don't like going to parties?" she asked.

"Not when it's just an excuse to drink."

Aluura smiled. "Then I guess we'll have to have our own party here." She sat up, and laid on his chest.
