Location: Family Quarters
Timeline: On-boarding
Banaii, B'Sata, Koshu and Gemi entered their respective quarters, in the order of their family rank, which were assigned according to each person's rank. Since they needed to reside as a family unit, special accommodations were provided to allow them to each have a small personal space, along with a community space containing the standard living quarters. The arrangement resembled a small common berthing area, reminiscent of a Naval bunking area, with a common bathroom section, tiered bunks, and a dining area, which also served as a communications area, complete with 4 insets arranged in a circular fashion. These insets were used to house their individual PADDs, which would also serve as communications terminals.
B'Sata, being the highest ranking member of the family unit, took the top berthing area.
Banaii, being the second ranking member, took the next berthing area below the top one.
Koshu, being the third ranking member, took the berthing area above the bottom one.
Gemi, being the fourth ranking member, took the bottom berthing area.
They each had small lockers, in which they placed their belongings. Once they had settled in, they took time to have a small celebratory meal. There was lively conversations going on between them, but the room was strangely quiet, due to their ability to communicate telepathically between themselves. Only the eyes changed colors during their telepathic conversations, but their horns, which changed colors in synchrony with their eyes during verbal conversations, remained their respective colors.
Once they had completed their meal, each member took their PADD and sat at their assigned location at the table, and started reviewing their logs. There was the occasional flickering of their polychromatic eyes as they communicated amongst themselves, otherwise they sat in silence while they worked.
