Location: Security Office
Timeline: After launch
Mike sat across from Mira, watching her with interest, but at the same time he was questioning her and her position. She was young, not experienced with things like he was. He wasn't sure she'd be able to handle things under pressure. He watched her , wondering if she'd have what it truly takes and how she managed the spot and position that she has. He knew that she hadn't noticed him, she was involved in her Padds.
He had just recently joined as a security, hoping to have the chief job, but hearing it was taken by someone so young. He was intrigued and decided to join anyway to see what this was about. He knew that the Security command trusted him and his decisions. he had been chief and worked closely in the department in training others. He doesn't remember training her at all. He studied her again and stayed quiet, settling in his seat. He knew his reputation proceeded him well. He knew he'd be an asset that this team needed. He watched as she drank from her cup, not paying attention to him at all.
He was still intrigued by her, but wondered if it would be wise to speak yet. He could easily be removed, if he was rude to her from the beginning and no one wanted to be on the wrong side of the one who had ability like she did. Dangerous for her, he knew this. He crossed his arms and as he did, that made a noise that he wasn't intending on.
Mira looked up to see such a relaxed Security officer. She glanced for a moment, putting most of her padds away. "May I help you?" He seemed older than her, surely he wouldn't want to work under her. He could have... 'oh, no'... She thought quietly as she tried not to let her clumsy get the best of her. She wanted to face palm, even after such a statement.
He gave a smirky smile as he handed her a padd, "I believe... I can help you"
