Mission: To Boldly Go...
Location: Docking Ring-Town center
Timeline: MD-01

"Ma'am, we've arrived. Should I set the systems to prepare for docking?"

Noxi nodded once. "Yes, please," she said. She raised her voice an octave. "All hands, return to consoles and prep for docking procedures,' she instructed. "Take us in, Helm," she said. She clicked her Comms badge on.

=/\=Commander, prep for transport. =/\=

Mike , standing in for Mira as she was with the Commander, knew the process that he was to do with this. He kept his mind occupied with the work and not on the Chief. He only hoped that she knew what she was doing, while he's had his experience. He knew she needed hers' and he refused to interfere. 'One has to learn to leave the nest.'

Rose lay in a Jeffries tube, pretending to nap as she double checked her gear. Astrocartographers would likely be left alone on this run, and she was awaiting return to duty authorization before she could officially ask that someone grab her the outpost's maps and sensor data so she could update her own maps. But right now she barely had the authorization to correct temporal slip. She knew the physics. Clocks at the back of the ship ran slower than those in the nose, at least at Warp or really any significant portion of the speed of light. Space time was subject to the Doppler effect, after all. Primitive Warp drives had even capitalized on that, making the task of synchronizing the ship's time and allowing for accurate navigational inputs a daily task. Modern Starfleet mostly used the main computer to do this, referencing off of the nearest three installations. But verifying that was midshipman work. Work that Rose was authorized to do. At least till she got cleared. Till then, she could do menial Ensign level scut work and take her time and find those places gravity didn't work, where the sound deadening wasn't as good. Those places where she could feel the soul of the hull and hear its song.

Baker walked into the transporter room, late, as usual. He was carrying his medkit. "Apologies for being late." He took an open spot on the pad.

From the Bridge, Noxi's eyes darted from screen to screen. She nodded once as each report I think they want the time to the came in and then she sighed deeply, but raised her hand to her Comms badge.
Minute
=/\=Ensign Sar, prep five to beam out. On my order. =/\= She paused a beat. =/\=Commander, good luck out there. Ensign? Do it. =/\=

“Thanks, Captain. We’ll maintain contact . Energize,” Commander Morgan said after his team assembled on the transporter pad.

She watched the screen as the Away Team beamed out. She hoped that this would go well.

Mike watched the away team on his console and observed if any enemies would be near by. He knew that Ops would be able to monitor the crew themselves.
